Responding to clients changing legal needs since 1872.

The origin of Adams Hendon Carson Crow & Saenger, P.A. dates back to 1872 when Joseph Shepard Adams started practicing law in Asheville, North Carolina. Our history is long and our roots are deep. We know how to do our job, which is to solve problems for clients.

We are proud of the fact that clients who retain our firm often develop into long-term clients. Indeed, many of our clients have been with us for decades. There is perhaps no better testament to this than the fact that almost a century ago we were called upon to represent the estate of George W. Vanderbilt. In doing so our firm formed and assisted with the management of the Biltmore Company, which created the Town of Biltmore Forest and the Biltmore Forest Country Club, and the firm structured the sale of substantial land holdings that resulted in the creation of Pisgah National Forest. To this day descendants of George W. Vanderbilt and their businesses continue to trust us as their legal advisors. We believe these enduring relationships are a product of our legal expertise, our emphasis on personal service and our focus on practical solutions.

We have expertise in a broad range of legal practice areas. We work seamlessly as a team by drawing on attorneys from different practice areas who are best qualified to address clients' problems.
